SUNDERBAN NATIONAL PARK
Sunder ban National Park, blessed with dense forest and the abode of Bengal Tigers, is located in south-east of Kolkata in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The area surrounds and area of about 4264 sq km. The heaven of wild has been part of the world’s largest delta surrounded by the Ganges and the Brahmaputra. It has been named as World Heritage Site by UNESCO because of protected wildlife reserve part of Project tiger.

If you are adventures then a Jeep ride in Sunderban National park can give you ways to get snake holes, wild den. Moreover you can hear the sound of birds chirping. The forest is filled with Mangrove Pitta, Mangrove Whistler, Asian Pied Starling, and Mansion Sparrow. Other common inhabitants are Monitor Lizards, Tiger, Salt Water crocodiles, Cheetas, Barking Deer.

Best time to visit Sunderban Naional Park is from December to February.

How to reach

By Rail: You can board train or bus bound to Sunderban from Sealdah after reaching Kolkata.
By Air: Kolkata airport is well connected to many parts across the country as it is the nearest airport to the national park.
